Practice details
We are an NHS England practice based in Axbridge and Wedmore. Find out more about our opening times and practice details.
We are no longer able to use the letterboxes on our front doors. This is due to external security advice that we have been given and are expected to follow. Patients can drop prescriptions in within our opening hours or utilise the NHS app which is available 24/7. (8.1.25)

Patient Leaflet
Please see further information about the surgery and support for patients in our Patient Leaflet.
Re-opening of Wedmore Surgery
Wedmore Surgery will be re-opening from Monday, 18th May.
Following the temporary closure of Wedmore Surgery for a period of internal alterations, with support from the Wedmore and Axbridge Health Fund for which we are hugely grateful , we are pleased to announce Wedmore surgery re-opening.
Along with the Axbridge surgery, the Practice and our Primary Care Network team, serving the local and neighbourhood communities, will be utilising the newly created consulting rooms. This enables greater capacity and flexibility, and will help future-proof the practice by working at both sites.
We anticipate, along with the growing population and increasing staff over time, including medical students, training doctors and other clinical and support staff in training, the additional sites capacity provided will be invaluable, and help the Practice maintain their profile as a local leader in healthcare delivery.
Dr Ewart Jackson-Voyzey
After over 25 years as a full time GP here Dr Jackson-Voyzey will be turning 60 at the end of October. He will therefore be working two days a week but any shortfall will be recruited for and our expanding team here look forward to continuing to look after our patients.
